Aye finally packed! Note the before and after shots- I never believed three and a half months could be crammed in to two suitcases and a duffel bag. I cant help feeling like im forgetting something big though : / However...I cant believe Im leaving tomorrow ahhh!!!

Wow this is actually happening

Wow wow wow! Today is Monday and I leave for Halifax Wednesday.. set sail Friday. I honestly still cant believe this is happening. I wonder if I'll ever believe its happening (even while its happening, lol)? Im excited and nervous and everything else all at the same time. Happy for the great adventure Im about to have, but also sad to leave home, school, all my friends, and the life I have grown so comfortable in here. Im anxious to discover whats in store.. to learn and grow, and discover myself while discovering the world. Its been almost a year since I saw that semester at sea flyer in my care and preventions of athletic injuries class. Funny, I dont think I ever imagined it would really happen. But here I sit- while I should really be packing- and this IS happening. A dear friend gave me the best quote recently,

You will go in
and you wont be afraid of it.
You will have fun.

I think that says it all.

Amidst all the craziness of getting everything finalized for my trip before I leave Gainesville, I came across a bit of good fortune! While docked in Vietnam I'll be traveling to Cambodia to explore Angkor Wat for a few days. Its no surprise that this little jaunt issues yet another swift kick in the nuts to my poor bank account (ha!)...but all I can honestly say at this point is- you guessed it- "put it on my tab"
